The makers mark S&Co on a London submitted piece points strongly to Searle & Co, a well known London retail silversmith and jeweller. Searle & Co registered their mark in March 1908, with premises on Lombard Street, London, later at the Royal Exchange, Cornhill, London EC3. The date letter is 1911 an unusual year for a sweetheart.
