The sculpture sat in a storage yard for several years and finally landed in the care of the museum after being dubbed "Alaska's Most Controversial Sculpture." Nimbus is now on prominent display in front of the Father Andrew P. Kashevaroff Building which houses the Alaska State Library, Archives and Museum.
