Axxe came from Lubbock, Texas and in early 1979 they unleashed their lone single. The outside world was at the time unfortunately not listening, but what a record it was Rip shreddin proto speed metal with energic guitar riffs to die for. The attitude and raw performance were total punk but Axxe sure knew how to nail a guitar solo and they used cowbell. Original
