Beckers & Piard 1/6 Daguerreotype Man Wearing Glasses Guggenheim Family New York french Circa 1890 cabinet card showing6th plate daguerreotype of an older man wearing eyeglasses. This dag came from the Guggenheim Myers family estate of New York, but this man is not identified and I don't know who he is. I don't think you can see this in my scan, but the brass mat is stamped: "Beckers & Piard 264 Broadway" (NY). This studio was known for its excellent portraits and fine tinting. This man's face is lightly tinted pink.. his coat might have been tinted at one time also..
